Dice grows in waters with higher water temperature and are not resistant to low temperatures. Generally, they cannot survive when the water temperature is lower than 7°C. Therefore, natural dace are mainly produced in the water systems of Guangdong and Fujian. Artificial breeding can be carried out in other areas under heat preservation conditions. Mussels are produced in all seasons, and the peak fishing season is from April to June. The body of the mud carp is flat, and the back is slightly raised in front of the dorsal fin, and the body length is generally 15-25 cm. There are two pairs of whiskers, large scales, bluish-white body, round abdomen without edges, small and many spines, tender flesh, and slightly earthy smell.
